A vacant site in Prague has become a rarity. We are pleased to have had the chance to contribute to the design of one of the few remaining sites. Adhering to Prague’s building regulations, the ground floor of the building is designated for parking, utilizing stackers. The upper floors are dedicated to residential use, offering a range of apartment sizes including layouts of three-, two- and one-room apartments plus a kitchenette, providing a diverse spectrum of floor spaces. The building is oriented towards a sunny courtyard, providing residents with terraces for relaxation and contemplation. Additionally, we have incorporated a green sitting area and a small arboretum on the roof, serving as a bonus amenity for neighbouring properties. In terms of aesthetics, the facade’s height harmonizes with the surrounding buildings, while the irregularity of window openings and contrasting colour scheme add a distinctive character, ensuring the building stands out from the street gloom and becomes a prominent feature of the neighbourhood.
