The attic apartment renovation on Šmeralova Street in the Bubeneč district entails a duplex layout with a terrace, highlighting an exposed roof truss for added charm. We meticulously preserved the original parquet floor, which was sanded and matt coated, along with the existing doors, where only the fittings were replaced. These three distinctive elements are subtly complemented by oiled oak veneer, white, and grey hues.
On the lower entrance floor, the living room with a kitchenette features a prominent built-in bookcase spanning the entire wall, offering both storage, TV table and additional seating on a podium. A staircase ascends from the podium to the first floor, where one can find a fully equipped kitchen in white laminate complemented by oak veneer accents. The bathroom, adorned with grey ceramic tiles and oak elements, boasts matte black taps for a sleek contrast. The upper floor has a bedroom with a small bathroom, a dressing room and a terrace. Also here, there is a blend of white, grey and oak veneer. The small attic bathroom can be accessed through a walk-through closet in the bedroom. The bedroom opens directly onto the terrace, where owners enjoy a view of Prague Castle.
